Welcome Readers

Money Smart Week @ your Library:

Visit us April 20-27 for fun and informational programs on how to be smart with your money. We have partnered with area banks, financial institutions and businesses for a series of helpful seminars about your money — from saving it to spending it wisely. The programs are free, and there’s something for everyone.

To get you started here are some great  Money Smart Reads:

  • The affluent investor : financial advice to grow and protect your wealth By Phil DeMuth
  • The only budgeting book you'll ever need by Tere Stouffer
  • Saving for retirement : (without living like a pauper or winning the lottery) by Gail MarksJarvis
  • The secret life of money : a kid's guide to cash by Kira Vermond
  • The Wall Street Journal guide to the new rules of personal finance: essential strategies for saving, investing, and building a portfolio in a world turned upside down  by Dave Kansas
